Danny was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, and worked in the electrical supply business for over 30 years. He accepted God's call into small church ministry in 2002, as a Commissioned Lay Pastor in the Presbyterian Church(USA). He has been the pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Darien for 10 years.
Danny and his wife Pam(retired teacher) have been married for 40 years, and have been blessed with two children, Amy(who is 36) and DeDe(who is 40). They now have two grandchildren Ella Grace(2yrs) and Coen(8months). Dede has special needs and live with her parents in Brunswick.
Danny is active in the Rotary Club, Ministers Association of McIntosh, and sings in the church choir. He also loves to hit a tennis ball and strum the guitar when time allows.
Pam and Danny love the small town closeness of Darien, where people are always waving and saying hello. Pastor Danny and the church community are looking forward to the possibility of building a new church fellowship hall in the near future.
