Danny was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, and worked in the electrical supply business for over 30 years. He accepted a call into small church ministry, as a Commissioned Lay Pastor, coming to Darien's First Presbyterian in March of 2002. Danny and his wife Pam (a retired teacher) have been married for 37 years, and have been blessed with two children, Amy (a teacher) who is 31 and DeDe who is 36. DeDe has special needs and lives with her parents in the church manse. Danny is active in the Rotary Club, sings in the Community Choir, serves on various committees of Savannah Presbytery, leads an adult sunday school class, and loves playing tennis when possible. Pam and Danny love the small town closeness of Darien, where people are always waving and saying hello.
